Project Overview
This project with incredible AV quality is currently under construction. The client contracted Theater Design Northwest to do technical design, installation and calibration for their dream cinema space in their new Woodway home. The customer, an avid audio/videophile, had done a lot of experimenting with different setups and had decided to really push the limits with screen size to viewing distance. The result was a huge 160″ diagonal Stewart Filmscreen acoustically transparent screen with a Sony VPL-HW50ES projector as the video source.
The client already had a nice selection of excellent gear and we helped him create a hybrid component system using BG Radia speakers in custom fabricated enclosures by our firm. One of our custom fabric stretch screenwalls of Guilleford fabric provides the perfect light absorbent backdrop to the screen and also conceals the large L/C/R speaker arrays.

Summary
The perfectly matched Stewart Filmscreen paired with the overachieving performance of the Sony shows excellent picture quality and the large format audio design in this room places it firmly in high end performance territory. The clients are pleased with the outcome; both they and we are taken aback by the amazing performance of the BG Radia speaker system. This was our first design using the LA-600 speakers and they do not disappoint, offering incredible value.
