Project Description
This Dolby Atmos theater was part of a networking, security and audio upgrade project that TDNW was contracted for. On the site survey, the room designated for media was pretty basic with a 65″ TV and Sonos Playbar for sound. The owner was interested in getting some current quality AV goodness in there, so we designed, installed and integrated an excellent big screen experience with a Wolf Cinema laser projector and THX Ultra 5.4.1 Dolby Atmos surround.
The MK Sound IW150II left, center, right speakers are installed in wall behind the giant 129″ diagonal Stewart Filmscreen with Harmony woven fabric and the source components live below in a custom crafted furniture piece with convection airflow. Since this was a one-shot difficult/invasive remodel, we added in dual fiber runs to accommodate future video upgrades.
